Your blog is wonderful. Great reading and keep posting photos, too. I agree, paradise is as illusive as that happy place in the mind. But worth searching for, never the less.
So glad to see you're putting your words and photos of your experiences on line. We think of you guys often. One of these days we'll make it down there again, but I think we're going to have to sell our house first which we're starting to consider again. Carol wants to go check out Mexico around Guadalajara and the beaches and lakes below it. If we get down that far we'll get in touch about coming for a visit. All is well here, except I don't want to be here. Carol wants to be where I am and I hate to pull her so far south all the time, but that's where we have to be, way south of the border. Nicaragua sounds like still a possibility so if you're still down there when we're ready to fly the coop we'll make sure to land at your door at least for a visit.
Granada sounds nice. We actually were there for one day and night but I had a swelled ankle and could hardly walk. One thing I wondered about. How hot are the nights? Do you find it too hot to sleep occasionally, or are you air conditioned? Anyway you guys have all the fun you can muster up and stay out of trouble. We send our best vibes your way.
